Set within the natural beauty of our regenerative estate, this special festival day brings acclaimed literary voices, engaging storytelling and provocative ideas to The Old Stables – our intimate venue celebrated for its stunning Australian bush setting and exceptional acoustics.

Join us for two remarkable sessions curated for curious minds, with a relaxed midday pause to stroll the grounds, take in the escarpment views, or at our Megalong Valley Tea Rooms.

Bruce Pascoe in Conversation with Grace Lucas-Pennington

Aboriginal farmer and celebrated author Bruce Pascoe joins Bundjalung writer, editor, and mentor Grace Lucas-Pennington for an expansive conversation exploring Dark Emu, Big Sky, and his enduring body of work.

Reconsidering the colonial narratives long used to justify dispossession, Pascoe’s writing brings profound clarity to Australian history. Together, they will explore how contemporary science and philosophy—when anchored in First Nations wisdom and holistic land practices—offer vital pathways toward a shared and regenerative future.
