In the Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains, NSW, about two hours’ drive from Sydney. Blackheath is the nearest town, 10 to 15 minutes away by car, and Katoomba is about 30 minutes. See Find us for directions and a map of the estate.

Yes. Take the train to Blackheath, then a taxi or shuttle from the station. If you’d like help arranging transport, get in touch and we’ll help you plan the trip.

Our office is attended 10am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, and emails are checked outside those hours.

Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch. Please allow at least two and a half hours for your meal, and arrive on time. Seating times are in the reservation policy.

Yes, reservations are essential. Bookings open three months ahead. You can book online for up to 8 guests; for 9 or more, please call or email us.

We take credit card details when you book. A cancellation fee of $100 per person applies to cancellations within 7 days of your booking. Changes are subject to availability; email restaurant@lot101.com.au. The full terms are in the reservation policy.

Megalong serves a fixed set menu. We can vary it for dietary requirements with notice when you book, but can’t change it on the day. We don’t offer a vegan menu.

Yes, under supervision, on the full set menu. There’s no children’s menu, and we don’t have highchairs or space for prams.

No, Megalong is strictly no BYO. There’s a full wine list, and drinks pairings are available with the menu.

A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays, and card payments carry a variable surcharge. Groups of 9 or more have a discretionary 10% service charge.

Yes. Private dining and exclusive hire of the restaurant are available on enquiry. Send us an enquiry.

Seven days, 9am to 3pm, with takeaway afternoon tea from 2:30pm. We’re open on most public holidays; check our Instagram, @megalongvalleytearooms, or call (02) 4787 7089 to be sure.

A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and 15% on public holidays.

Everything is made in a kitchen where allergens are present. Please talk to our staff about your allergy before you order.

Yes. The Tea Rooms are the farm gate outlet for LOT 101, so you can take home freshly picked vegetables and local produce. See Farm Gate.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am. Late check-out can sometimes be arranged; just ask.

The Family Cottages sleep four (a queen and two singles) and the Twin Cottage sleeps two (a queen). Each has a wood fire heater, reverse-cycle air conditioning, an oven with cooktop, a fridge and an outdoor barbecue area, and the Twin also has a dishwasher. Linen, towels and firewood are provided, and guests can use the tennis court.

Yes, up to two dogs per cottage, and fees apply. Please don’t leave them alone inside, keep them off furniture and bedding, don’t let them roam, and clean up after them. See the house rules.

Yes. Water at Werriberri comes from a bore on the property. It’s tested regularly and is safe to drink.

Please let us know at least 14 days before you arrive. Cancellations within 14 days incur a fee equal to the full accommodation charge, and a 2% administration fee applies to all cancellations. The full terms are under booking terms.

Yes. Our dine and stay packages pair dinner at Megalong with a night or more in a Werriberri cottage.

The restored Old Stables hosts weddings, functions, retreats, festivals, concerts and talks. Megalong is also available for private dining and exclusive hire.

Yes. The Old Stables can be hired on its own or together with a stay in the Werriberri cottages nearby.

We cater events from the Tea Rooms and Megalong.
